I have just come back from a great weekend away with The Metal Detectives in Dorset - a well organised friendly event, with just the right number of people in a fabulous location. I had been looking to join a metal detecting club for some time when I learned of the Metal Detectives. I had been trying to join a couple local clubs for years but there membership had a waiting list. How pleased was I when I found Mark & Karen! They made me feel welcome straight away, with plenty of encouragement and lots of new sites to detect. They are couple of true ambassadors for this great hobby, doing everything just So! This is a really well run club,well done to Mark,Karen and David. I really enjoy the digs and there are plenty of friendly members who don't mind sharing their knowledge of metal detectors and finds. The digs are well organised with plenty of information about the sites. I can pop in to the Hidden History shop where David or Mark are always helpful and chatty. Overall a great club and a pleasure to be a member of. fishon
